About Me

I'm a student at the University of Edinburgh studying for an MSc in Informatics. My course is mostly on machine learning but I have also taken courses in information retrieval and dabbled with letting multi agent systems loose on the semantic web.

You can see my past experiance in my curriculum vitae and on my projects page.

My interests are in distributed technologies that are forming the base of the Internet, the mass of data this allows to be created, stored and processed, and the new future media and social applications that are being built on top of all this. I hope to make computer systems far more intelligent which can help, not hinder, the world we live in. I've also dabbled in entrepreneurship with the start up Vimuse Technologies, so am on the lookout for future possible ventures.

On this site you can find my posts about technology (and other interesting things), projects I have done, and links to other sites on the web.
